We spoke to Professor Tabassome Simon (Hospital Saint-Antoine, Paris, France) on the background, aims and design of the REALITY study (REstrictive And LIberal Transfusion strategies in patients with acute mYocardial infarction and anemia; ClinicalTrials.gov identifier NCT02648113), as well as the findings of the study to date.
