Data from the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Global Heart Attack Treatment Initiative (GHATI) offers a novel insights into ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) care in low-middle income countries. touchCARDIO spoke to Prof César Herrera (Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY, USA) to discuss his presentation at the ACC Annual Meeting 2022 entitled ‘GHATI: Improving STEMI Management Internationally: Two-year Report of 4,015 Patients Enrolled in the American College of Cardiology’.
