The Arrhythmia Alliance (A-A) runs numerous initiatives aimed at advancing the management and care of patients with arrhythmias.

Dr Honey Thomas (Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Northumbria, UK) has been attending the A-A organised, Heart Rhythm Congress (HRC), since she was a trainee and has also worked on numerous A-A supported projects that have, and still are, making a significant impact in advancing arrhythmia care globally.

In this interview we discuss what knowledge and experience she has gained through attendance at the HRC over the years, and the impact this has had on her day-to-day life as a clinician. We also explore some of the initiatives she has had the opportunity to work on, in collaboration with the A-A, such as Pace4Life.

A-A Pace4Life recycles donated explanted devices and transports them to developing countries where patients who may not have otherwise been able to receive treatment for their heart rhythm disorders can benefit. To learn more visit about the mission visit: www.pace4life.org.
