Dr Andrea Russo (Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, New Jersey, USA) talked with touchIME this World Heart Rhythm Week about all things arrhythmia! She described the key considerations when managing and treating different arrhythmias and exciting ongoing research. Dr Russo also emphasised the importance of seeking medical advice for any instance of syncope as this could be a sign of an underlying arrhythmia – ‘Take fainting to heart!’.
