This achievement marks a notable increase from last year’s Impact Factor of 0.2 and highlights the journal’s growing influence in the cardiology field.
The Journal Impact Factor (JIF) is a widely recognized metric that calculates the average number of citations received by articles published in a journal. This metric, calculated by dividing a journal’s received citations by its published articles, remains a valuable tool for librarians in curating journal collections, for publishers in assessing journal performance and for researchers in selecting impactful publication venues.
Reflecting on this accomplishment, Co-Editor-in-Chief Dr Magdi El-Omar shared:
