The COVID-PACT study focused on critically ill patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), assessing the use of antithrombotic therapy. In this touchCARDIO interview, we speak with Dr David Berg (Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA) to discuss the purpose and design of the COVID-19 study and how the outcomes will implicate clinical practice. 

The abstract entitled ‘COVID-PACT – Antithrombotic therapy in critically Ill COVID-19 patients’ was presented at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress 2022, 26 – 29 August 2022.
