AF Association is internationally renowned for its uncompromising efforts to constantly improve information, support and access to new or innovative treatments for AF.
AF Association ensures that the patient is at the heart of decision making. Education platforms for medical professionals such as the Heart of AF website (www.heartofaf.org) promotes excellence in AF care. The charity also organises the annual AF Association Global AF Aware Week which is a global week-long initiative to raise awareness of AF.
Many thousands of patients now benefit from increased knowledge and training, leading to improved patient outcomes.

Global AF Aware Week 2024 (GAFAW2024) is 18-24 November. Each year the AF Association hosts Global AF Aware Week and this year’s theme, ‘Hearts Beating. Minds Meeting,’ highlights the power of collaboration in addressing AF. By bringing organisations, associations, societies, public, patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, allied professionals, and policy makers together, we can raise awareness and enhance AF care worldwide through our Detect, Protect, Correct, and Perfect approach.
